There is a large charter fishing fleet in Atlantic Beach. No Crystal Coast vacation would be complete without booking a fishing charter. Almost all of them accommodate children and families. There are a lot of species of fish to target from our area. Jump on a head boat for some good bottom fishing. Or book a private charter and chase after some bill fish.

Once you come over the bridge it’s pretty obvious Atlantic Beach is a fishing town. In the winter there’s bluefin tuna trips (and more boats than people), and you have the chance of landing some HUGE fish! Otherwise even in the dog days of summer Atlantic Beach charter captains can get you to some good eating fish.

The Capt. Stacy Fishing Center is home to many of Atlantic Beach’s charter fishing boats. They have a really nice head boat (boat that takes lots of people fishing and you pay per person), complete with a galley that serves up pretty tasty food. They also offer overnight shark fishing trips.

Capt. Glyn Loftin can get you the big bluefin tuna this winter if you’re game. In the warmer months he can take you after mahi mahi, tuna, wahoo, and even bill fish. In 2006 he won 1st place in the Governor’s Cup.
