I live in Emerald Isle and it’s a fantastic place to be all year. The summers bring a lot of tourist activity and things really liven up. The ocean waters get as warm as bath water. Most days you can’t help but walk around with a smile on your face. There are a lot of businesses in Emerald Isle and more set up shop each year. There are lots of things to do here in Emerald Isle. Granted it may appear to be a sleepy little beach town, but there’s plenty of exciting or relaxing activities if you know where to look. Our beaches are great for people watching in the summer. One of my favorite people watching places is Bogue Inlet Pier. There are always a lot of fisherman in the summer, not to mention the steady flow of people on and off the beach. I used to eat lunch at the pier daily when I worked in Emerald Isle. Check out the things to do page. Hopefully you find something there to entertain or soothe you.
Or if you need to get out and dance the night away, or just want to have a few drinks, check out the night life page. There aren’t too many options here though. But we do have some fun pubs, bar and grills, and clubs.
The Town of Emerald Isle is a very forward thinking and ahead of their time town entity well ahead of many in the Crystal Coast area. The town has their own police, fire, and recreational departments that work very hard to ensure the safety and enjoymet of it’s residents and visitors. Visit the town’s page below.
