Fishing Charters
Morehead City has a large charter fishing fleet. Whatever type of fishing you’re looking to do, there’s a charter in Morehead City that can accommodate you and your party. In the spring the yellowfin and wahoo fishing is second to none. Beaufort Inlet is very near, and the Gulf Stream isn’t too far out once you’re out of the inlet. The summer months bring a lot of king mackerel to our area. Grouper, black sea bass, and triggerfish are commonly caught bottom species throughout the year here.
The inshore waters hold a lot of redfish, trout, and flounder. There are many guides and charter captains around Morehead City that will get you to the fish and create a trip you won’t soon forget.
